2. Hosting and server log files
This site runs on a server from Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus, located in Frankfurt am Main. When you visit, the web server stores technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These log files are deleted after 14 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics services and loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers.
3. Booking via Cal.com
The “Book a call” buttons lead to Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). Your browser only connects to Cal.com once you click. Cal.com then processes technical data such as IP address and browser type and may set its own cookies. If you book a call, you send the details from the booking form (e.g. name, email address, chosen time) to Cal.com. If you arrived via a link with a source tag (e.g. “linkedin”), that tag is added to the booking link.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). More information: cal.com/privacy
4. Video call via Google Meet
The call takes place on Google Meet (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). You get the link with your booking confirmation. When you join, Google processes connection data such as IP address, as well as video and audio during the call. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. More information: policies.google.com/privacy
5. Processors
Hostinger, Cal.com and Google process data on our behalf. Where required, data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place, ensuring the data is processed only on our instructions and in line with the GDPR.
6. Transfers to the USA
Cal.com is based in the USA, and Google is part of a US group. Personal data (e.g. your IP address) may therefore be transferred to the USA. Where no adequacy decision of the EU Commission applies, transfers rely on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR; where the provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, transfers also rely on it. The USA does not offer a level of data protection comparable to the EU, and access by US authorities cannot be fully ruled out.
7. Retention
Your data stays with us until the purpose of processing no longer applies. If you ask for deletion, we delete the data unless other legal grounds for keeping it apply (e.g. tax or commercial retention periods); in that case it is deleted once those grounds no longer apply.
8. Your rights
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
An email to dominic@easyautomate.org is enough.
9. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
